London has the Beatles tours, tours of New York has sex in the city, and now the Museum of the City of Stockholm is proud to present Abba-City Walk, a walk through Stockholm where Abba lived and worked.
The Museum of the City of Stockholm, responsible for the popular tour of Stieg Larsson's Millennium will offer a guided tour of the city with Abba as the epicenter. The tour is called Abba-City Walk.
will begin May 19 and will run all summer, you can follow a guided tour of the Stockholm 70's and seeing the places of interest and importance in the career of Abba. The tours are offered in English and Swedish and will cost 120 SEK. The Museum of the City of Stockholm also publish a map of the city to places connected with Abba identified.
Starting at City Hall where Benny played for the first time, the tour continues to the Sheraton Hotel, one of the places where Abba filmed scenes of his film and one of the attractions of the city in the 70's. The Royal Opera was where legendary Abba performed for the gala of the Royal Wedding of 1976, Benny and Frida once lived in the old city. And other places where they did photo sessions and recorded music. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
